“Primary Color Angels”

We were recently visited by the Blue Angels in Vero Beach. Since I love to paint angels I was inspired to create Primary Color Angels — adding a yellow and a red Angel to accompany the blue Angels. As an Artist, and Therapist, I thought it would be wonderful to be able to create any color Angel you want by mixing the primary colors!

"The Enchanted Window"

This month’s painting and writing is from my book, “The Enchanted Mirror” (1999, Papillon Press). It is a mythical journey to find Self-Love, for Mothers, Daughters, and people of all ages. The protagonist Serena is searching for a mirror that once she gazes into it, will reveal once and for all who she really is! Since this doesn’t exist, she must find the ingredients and make it herself.

“Receiving the Muse”

This painting has been exhibited and won awards — but more importantly, it is one of my favorites. When I painted it in Colorado, I didn’t know I would study healing at The Barbara Brennan School of Healing a few years later. That’s when I realized that the creativity and inspiration the Artist receives at the Artist’s table, is from the same Source, and is made of the same essence as what the Healer receives at the healing table.
