As 2022 comes to completion, here is a selection of the clay Angels I’ve created this year. Creativity, prayer, joy, healing and faith get to come together — embodied as paintings, sculptures, and healing sessions. And I get to share them all with you!

In this month of Thanksgiving, may you find gratitude and joy in what comes into your vision and consciousness through the window to your world .

A picture is worth a thousand words. Prayers for Light and Peace in your August.

It takes great maturity to know when an idea, an attitude, a place, behavior, or relationship simply doesn’t work for you anymore. That is the time to walk away. It can be painful — especially if you’ve invested a lot of yourself to ‘make it work’. But, if the pain of staying exceeds the call to transformation, it’s time to listen.

We were recently visited by the Blue Angels in Vero Beach. Since I love to paint angels I was inspired to create Primary Color Angels — adding a yellow and a red Angel to accompany the blue Angels. As an Artist, and Therapist, I thought it would be wonderful to be able to create any color Angel you want by mixing the primary colors!

Visiting the gallery of our broken dreams is actually a lot more beneficial than it may sound initially. It’s important to examine what we once longed for — and may still long for — although attempts to find it have ended in disappointment.

Now that we’ve arrived in Spring it’s time to shed the obstacles that impede new growth! One of them is depression. I’ve heard depression described as “trying to go up a down escalator” — and I find that an apt description.

I’ve been painting Angels for decades. To me, they represent an intermediate way to connect with our own inner Divinity.

A haiku for when fewer words are necessary…

When the finite details — with all their potential disappointments and dissonance — can sometimes get the better of us, it’s time to step back and see the Infinite beauty, peace, and harmony we have access to.
